Lama Tashi Deleg

Lama Tashi Deleg was born in 1954. In 1970, he enrolled
in the Varanassi Higher Tibetan Institute, completing nine years
of Tibetan Buddhist university scholastic studies. It was during
this time, he also studied ritual and Vajrayana practices at H.H.
Dudjom Rinpoche's monastery Dud-dul Rabten Ling in Orissa, India.
After serving as secretary to H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche, Acharaya Lama
Tashi Deleg taught at H.H. Tulku Orgyen Rinpoche's monastery in
Nepal for three years. In 1985, he co-established Samye Monastery
in Kathmandu, Nepal serving as Vice-Principal for the next eight
years. He currently serves as a resident lama and teacher at Pema
Osel Ling.
