Vajra Armor is a rarely-taught practice, favored by Tibetan physicians, and is said to have the power to cure all 404 types of disease. It is highly recommended for those facing health challenges. Beyond that, the practice itself contains a complete path of enlightenment, balancing the outer and inner elements and resulting in complete liberation.

This retreat gives participants the opportunity to accumulate the mantra during a one-month silent retreat, according to traditional instructions. Retreatants will be staying in private cabins between the sessions in our 3-Year-Retreat center. A shopper will be provided weekly, but participants will prepare their own meals in the communal kitchen.

Applicants must be approved by Lama Sonam Rinpoche. Please send a short description of your practice and private retreat experience to office@vajrayana.org.

“Guru Rinpoche predicted that during these degenerate times, beings’ merit would decrease every day and the elements would become more and more imbalanced. We can see this with so many floods, droughts, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes and extreme heat waves. New diseases are appearing that doctors have never seen and cannot treat easily. People’s conduct is becoming rougher every day and negative spirits and energies are gaining strength.

"However, out of their great compassion, the buddhas have given us real tools to transform this negativity and protect us. Of all these methods, Vajra Armor is one of the most powerful protection practices for our health and to remove unwanted circumstances of all kinds.

~Lama Sonam Rinpoche

Please join us in person or by Live Streaming, as we practice
the Ladrub Thigle Gyachen puja with tsok.

Streaming of the puja is free, but please consider making a donation of any amount so we can continue offering streaming of events and practices at Pema Osel Ling.

We will be reciting the Ladrub Thigle Gyachen sadhana

A limited number of Loaner Copies will be available in the Shrine Room

This text is not available for purchase through Dharma Treasures

It can be purchased through Light of Berotsana

With regard to Dechö ”De” is the time when a lama passes into parinirvana and “Chö” is the aspect where the student makes offerings to connect with the blessings of the lama’s wisdom mind. This is a time of particular significance for all of us with a Dharma connection to His Holiness Chatral Rinpoche.

Read a letter from Yangsi Dudjom Rinpoche, Sangye Pema Zhepa, about Chatral Rinpoche's parinirvana, and Lama Sonam Rinpoche's words about Chatral Rinpoche's parinirvana here.

Lama Sonam Rinpoche encourages all sangha to attend. Please make every effort to join us at this time so that we can come together, pray and make aspirations.

There is no charge for the pujas but please bring a tsok offering to share. Please contact the Vajrayana Foundation office at office@vajrayana.org if you plan to attend, so we can arrange for your participation.

If you are unable to join us in person, Lama Sonam Rinpoche recommends that, for your own accumulation,"it would be very beneficial during this time to do Vajrasattva practice, to sponsor Tsok and Butterlamps, and make any kinds of offerings, including water bowl offerings, prostrations and circumambulations.”
