Sa Tsa Creation & Consecration, a rare opportunity to prepare for the end of life
Teaching by Lama Sonam Tsering Rinpoche
Translated by Christina Munson
Sponsored by Transitional Life Care

To support TLC in providing annual Sa Tsa workshops, Lama Sonam Tsering Rinpoche of the Vajrayana Foundation will join us to teach a concise ritual to consecrate Sa Tsas, offer a reading transmission (lung: Tib.), and advice about transitional state rituals in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. An aspect of Buddhist art utilized during the final practices carried out after someone has died; these clay forms are often made in the iconographic forms of small stupas. Traditionally, the cremation ashes of the deceased are inserted, accompanied by ritual and prayer. After being dried, they are then deposited into bodies of water to dissolve with the elements. There will be time for questions & answers.
