Retreat Payment and Cancellation Policies
Effective May 1, 2022
In order to plan best for everyone’s needs, the Vajrayana Foundation needs your help in following the procedures below so our limited retreat housing does not go unoccupied, or food and supplies are wasted. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Residential Retreatants: Payment for residential retreats is required in full at the time of registration in order to secure your housing. Housing is reserved first-come-first-served. We will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your reservation. Please wait to hear from us before making further travel plans.
Commuters: Payment for commuters is required in full at the time of registration. Commuter fees include lunch (and sometimes also breakfast, depending on the schedule). If registration is not received at least 1 week prior to the start of retreat, we cannot guarantee that we will have enough meals prepared to serve you.
Cancellation fees*:
Up to 4 weeks prior to the start of retreat – Full refund, minus $100 cancellation fee.
From 2 to 4 weeks prior to the start of retreat – 50% refund.
Thirteen or fewer days prior to the start of retreat, or after retreat has started – No refund except for extreme emergencies, and at the discretion of staff.
Expelled Retreatants:
In the event that you are asked to leave the retreat for violating our published rules, you will not receive a refund or future retreat credit.
Streaming Fees:
There will be no refund of streaming fees once links have been sent out.
