“Shitro is an incredible and powerful accumulation that is dedicated to world peace and brings great benefit to all sentient beings, whether dead or living, and especially those who are directly connected with it through participation and sponsorship. Shitro helps transform impure energy and increases long life for our teachers because it removes obstacles from damaged samaya in the sangha and purifies defilements that cause obstacles to enlightenment.” Lama Tharchin Rinpoche

Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche compiled this 100 Peaceful and Wrathful Deity practice, based on a Karma Lingpa treasure, as a method for practitioners to achieve fully enlightened Buddhahood by removing obstacles to the path through restoring all broken precepts, vows and tantric samayas.

We will additionally do a NEY DREN ceremony to help sentient beings who have died and are wandering in the bardo. Through symbols, seed syllables, etc., the dead person's (or animal's) consciousness is drawn in and is transferred to a pure land. This ceremony is not only effective for beings who have recently died but, as Lama Tharchin Rinpoche said, can even be done many years after a person has died since time only pertains to relative phenomena and is not absolute."
